Volta Ciclista a Catalunya
The Volta Ciclista a Cataluña is a stage cycling race that takes place in Catalonia (Spain).
It celebrated its first edition in 1911, being the oldest cycling competition in Spain and the fourth in the world, behind the Tour de France (1903), Tour of Belgium (1908) and the Tour of Italy (1909).
In 2005 he joined the newly created UCI ProTour program (since 2011 UCI WorldTour), which, in practice, places it among the 25 most important cycling competitions in the world.

After four editions of the reVolta as a one-day race, the competition now becomes a stage race with UCI 2.1 international category.
